Saudi Arabia’s AlUla airport to receive international flights
The General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) of Saudi Arabia has granted permission for international flights to land at Prince Abdul Majeed bin Abdulaziz Airport in AlUla. According to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), the airport’s annual capacity has increased from 100,000 to 400,000 passengers, and its area has grown to 2.4 million square meters.
The airport is one of the ten largest in the Kingdom, with the capacity to handle up to 15 commercial aircraft at any given time.
