Saudi Arabia announces changes to Government
On Friday, Saudi Arabia’s King Salman bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud issued a series of royal orders, including the appointment of new ministers and the removal of others. Dr. Essam bin Saad bin Saeed, who also serves as a minister of state and a member of the Cabinet, has been named as the current Minister of Hajj and Umrah, succeeding Mohammad Saleh bin Taher Benten, who was relieved of his duties, according to the Saudi Press Agency.
According to the royal decree, Sheikh Ali bin Suleiman bin Ali Al Sa’awi has been named as the president of the Supreme Administrative Court, with the rank of Minister, replacing Ibrahim Bin Suleiman Bin Abdullah Al Rasheed (SAC).
In favor of Abdul Hadi bin Ahmed bin Abdul Wahab Al Mansouri, Abdul Aziz bin Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz Al Duaij has been appointed chairman of the General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) with the rank of minister.
Abdul Hadi Bin Ahmed Bin Abdul Wahhab Al Mansouri has been appointed as assistant minister of foreign affairs for executive affairs with the rank of minister, and Abdul Aziz Bin Abdul Rahman Bin Abdul Aziz Al Arifi has been appointed as the assistant to the minister of transport.
In the meantime, the assistant minister of human resources and social welfare Mohammad bin Tuwai’a Bin Saad Al-Salami has been relieved of his duties. Maher Bin Abdul Rahman Bin Ibrahim Al Qasim has taken his place. Samir Bin Abdul Aziz Bin Mohammad Al Tabib has been named an advisor at the Cabinet’s General Secretariat, according to another royal order.
