NBB Announces the Launch of its Virtual Internship Programme ‘e-Evolve’ in August
The National Bank of Bahrain (NBB) has announced the launch of its virtual internship programme, e-Evolve, an extension of its current “Evolve” programme. Starting from 1st August, the programme will welcome weekly registrations of school and university students ages 15 – 24 on NBB’s virtual training platform that will be shared once the students register.
With the aim of expanding its internship experience to a larger segment of its community, the 5-week programme will accommodate up to 750 students per session and is offered to the general public free of charge and with zero restrictions. NBB will be showcasing the programme’s offerings for the week through the bank’s social media platforms and website prior to each new session enabling electronic registration for future participants.
e-Evolve is designed to offer participants with insight into potential careers within the financial industry and will consist of 8 elements such as: Financial Literacy Awareness, Professional Skills Awareness, Banking Divisions Organisation and Areas of Responsibility Webinars, Sign Language, First Aid, FinTech element Awareness, Communication Skills Training and Employability Readiness.
