Leading Technology firm Innervate delivered an in-depth interactive and technical session with a selection of regional and global guest speakers to explore how businesses can start “Delivering their digital future” through various presentations and a special demo by Innervate’s CTO, Dylan Mines. 100+ attendees from financial, and governmental institutions, including prominent FinTech leaders were present for the session delivered by 6 regional and global speakers.
The event shared first hand insights into how to make effective use of the latest technologies to enrich the experience of customers and to empower the region to be a leader in the 4th industrial revolution and the creation of a new digital economy. . The primary focus of the event was to engage leaders from the industry via interactive technical sessions; in-depth presentations from leading thought leaders and businesses already making the most of these new advances. Innervate shared their own case studies in the Middle East with proven results, and highlighted various sectors making use of the technologies and services offered.
The event kicked off by an introductory session presented by ICT Sector Head at the Bahrain Economic Development Board, Shaikh Mohamed Al-Khalifa gave an overview on the Digital Future in Bahrain, Bahrain’s liberal and advanced ICT infrastructure, and the initiatives that are, or must take place to build a successful digital economy. The second part of the session; Andy Startin, CEO of Innervate, spoke about how to digitize the landscape speaking from his experience in the Middle East, and Innervate’s successful methods of implementation to help take businesses to the next step.
The event concluded with Abdulkarim Abu Jaber; Territory Channel & Sales Manager (Bahrain & Oman) who spoke about the pillars of Microsoft’s strategic vision, a focus on the industry’s strategy for 2019, the use of technology like AI and data to drive digital transformation, and how it will shape the future. Abdelkarim joined Microsoft in 2006, and has accumulated over 20 years of professional experience in the GCC with a particular focus on technology, solutions, hardware, services & telecommunications.
