BisB Launches Future Leaders Camp in partnership with INJAZ Bahrain
Bahrain Islamic Bank (BisB), the leading provider of Islamic digital banking services in the Kingdom of Bahrain, launched its Future Leaders Camp in partnership with INJAZ Bahrain. This one-of-a-kind initiative took place from the 28th August to the 1st September, 2022, with the aim to promote the Bank’s youth-centric products such as Future Leaders, a cashless payment solution that provides parents with the ability to track and manage their children’s finances by issuing them a prepaid card or wristband through the Bank’s mobile application, BisB Digital, or website.
The 5-day camp opened exclusively for the holders of BisB Future Leaders wearables or cards of ages 7 to 21. With approximately 120 participants, the camp hosted a series of educational and entertaining trips to some of the largest corporations in the Kingdom such as: Bahrain Bourse, IKEA, and Ebrahim K. Kanoo B.S.C., where they participated in a verity of activities with the purpose of teaching them financial management skills, innovative thinking and leadership skills development. To add to the excitement, a treasure hunt was planned at Seef Mall, Manama, where the participants had to purchase recyclable items using their Future Leader wearables, and got the chance to win instant cash prizes. At the end of the program the winners were honored by the Chief Executive Officer of the Bahrain Islamic Bank and INJAZ Bahrain Executive Director.
Commenting on the occasion, Mr. Hassan Jarrar, Chief Executive Officer of BisB, said, “We are pleased to be organizing this camp as the first of its kind in collaboration with INJAZ Bahrain. We would also like to thank all the institutions who have participated in this event and we look forward to encouraging the future generation to be financially responsible and independent”.
Mr. Ali Al Aradi, Acting Head of Retail Banking at BisB, said, “The Future Leaders Camp aims to equip our youth with knowledge on financial management and instill a culture of saving and investment by participating in innovative and exciting activities that will enable them to win cash prizes. This program comes to ensure that BisB will continue supporting the youth and preparing them to become the future leaders.”

We look forward to expanding our partnerships to include various local organizations as well as holding more events as such in the future.”
Customers can open a Future Leaders account through BisB’s website or mobile application, BisB Digital, whereby a parent or legal guardian can sign on behalf of their children who are between the ages of 7 to 18, while those older can complete the process independently.
