Beban Airs Episode 4 of Season 2, Featuring 5 Technology, Manufacturing, and Design Businesses from the UAE and Bahrain
Beban, an entrepreneurship-themed reality show produced by Hope Ventures, the investment arm of Hope Fund, airs the fourth episode of its second season on January 25th, 2023, at 6 PM on Bahrain TV and the region’s biggest video-on-demand platform, Shahid, as well as 9:30 PM on AlRai TV.
Beban season 2, powered by The Oil and Gas Holding Company B.S.C (closed) (“nogaholding”), was filmed in Al Areen Palace and Spa by Accor, whereby entrepreneurs pitch their businesses in front of a panel of regional investors for immediate investment and business opportunities. The show aims to shed light on promising entrepreneurs and matchmake them with strategic investors to accelerate their growth and expansion into international markets.
Episode 4 hosted five entrepreneurs from the Kingdom of Bahrain and the United Arab Emirates: ‘Loyale App,’ a loyalty app that digitizes all types of loyalty systems to grant merchants and users the maximum benefit of loyalty rewards founded by Sayed Ahmed Al-Marzooq, ‘Fanera,’ a social network for football that unites fans, clubs, and sponsors while connecting them to a community that shares the same passion, founded by Mohammed Kilany, ‘RestHero,’ a B2B SAAS solution that optimizes sales through social media. The solution allows business owners to post their products and services on social media, list their products, link the data of the product with the post, and allow the customers to complete the ordering process, co-founded by Dr. Abdulla Al Shimmari, Ahmed Khalifa, ‘YAS Holding,’ a group holding company that manufactures and supplies furniture with a focus on closets and kitchens co-founded by Yasser Shuaib and Ali Al-Haddad, and ‘Nuzul,’ an interior design and architecture studio with a civil construction division founded by Mohamed Seyadi.
These five businesses pitched before a panel of regional investors that was comprised of Mr. Majed Alkhan, CEO of Infracorp, the social infrastructure group recently established by GFH Financial Group, Ms. Mashael Fairooz, Founding Partner of JEO Capital headquartered in Bahrain, and Saudi investor Dr. Khalid AlTaweel, co-founder of Riyadh Angel Investors. The panel was moderated by His Excellency Aymen bin Tawfiq Almoayed, Chairman of Hope Fund, who was also representing Hope Ventures’ investments.
