Bahrain’s Trade Minister participates in periodic consultative meeting of trade ministers and heads of federations of chambers of Commerce in the GCC countries
His Excellency Mr. Abdullah bin Adel Fakhro, Minister of Industry and Trade, stressed the importance of continuing to strengthen joint coordination between the countries of the Gulf Cooperation Council in a way that contributes to achieving common interests, especially at the level of exchanging experiences, training, research and development, noting at the same time the capabilities available in the countries. The Council, which would support efforts to develop Gulf trade exchange, stimulate the private sector and push it towards assuming its role as a major driver in the development process, creating quality job opportunities and increasing investments.
This came while His Excellency headed the delegation of the Kingdom of Bahrain participating in the consultative meeting between Their Excellencies the Ministers of Trade of the GCC countries, and Their Excellencies the heads of federations and chambers of the Gulf Cooperation Council, which was held within the framework of the meetings of the ministerial committees of the GCC countries, whose work is held in the city of Salalah in the Sultanate of Oman.
During the meeting, the topics on the agenda of the regular consultative meeting were discussed between Their Excellencies the Ministers of Commerce of the Council countries, and Their Excellencies the heads of the Gulf Cooperation Council unions and chambers, in addition to reviewing the views of the ministers on the agenda in this regard.
