Zayed Bin Rashid Al Zayani, Minister of Industry, Commerce, and Tourism has stated that the United Kingdom is an important global investment partner. He emphasized the Kingdom of Bahrain’s and the United Kingdom’s increasing economic relations, stressing the two countries’ strong historical ties and a mutual desire to achieve common strategic goals.

Al Zayani was talking during a gathering held with British Minister for International Trade, Ranil Jayawardena, within the sight of Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Tourism Undersecretary Imen Ahmed Al Dosari, Assistant Undersecretary for Local and International Trade Shaikh Hamad receptacle Salman Al Khalifa, Managing Director of the Economic Development Board (EDB) Simon Galpin and senior authorities.

The gathering took place on the sidelines of the British Minister’s visit to Bahrain. The focus of the discussions was on ways to strengthen bilateral investment cooperation to support the strategic growth goals of the two friendly countries.

Al Zayani stressed the importance of the private sector in both countries in achieving shared goals. He also emphasized Bahrain’s favorable investment environment and the government’s growth initiatives to attract investment. He emphasized the Kingdom’s attractiveness as a location for many foreign ventures and investments.

It’s worth noting that the scale of Bahrain-UK trade ties has increased dramatically, with total British investment in Bahrain expected to reach $550 million by 2020.
