BAHRAINI DINAR IS THE SECOND STRONGEST CURRENCY IN THE WORLD
The Bahraini Dinar topped the list as the second strongest currency in the world, a notch behind the world’s leading currency, the Kuwaiti Dinar, according to a report by Forbes.com on the 10 strongest currencies in the world in 2023.
The strongest currencies were determined based on their relative value against the U.S. dollar or the amount of dollars needed to buy one unit of each currency. The exchange rates are sourced from a currency converter, based on data from Open Exchange at the time when the report was issued.
The top 10 strongest currencies in descending order, are: Kuwaiti Dinar (KWD), Bahraini Dinar (BHD), Omani Rial (OMR), Jordanian Dinar (JOD), British Pound (GBP), (tie:) Cayman Islands Dollar (KYD) & Gibraltar Pound (GIP), (tie:) Swiss Franc (CHF) & Euro (EUR), and US Dollar (USD).
