Bahrain encourages more investments in its educational system
The teaching investment of curricula in universities is significant and plays a crucial part in supporting the national economy and the growing entrepreneurship in Bahrain. According to the Secretary General of the Higher Education Council (HEC) and the Vice Chairperson of its Board of Trustees, Dr. Shaikha Rana bint Isa bin Daij Al Khalifa, “the government of Bahrain pays great attention into strengthening the relationship between private and public sectors, which takes part in improving the Kingdom’s economic growth.”
A workshop was organized by the HEC General Secretariat, in cooperation with the Angelic Investment Office of Bahrain, and other higher education institutions. Part of the discussions included the mechanisms of growing academic curricula and unifying investment and entrepreneurship courses in commerce administration majors for the undergraduate level, with the requirements of the labor market. The World Business Angels Investment Forum (WBAF) Chairman Baybars Altuntas had pointed out that students are capable, over their survey of investment courses, to understand the projects adopted by investors and negotiate with them to create a clear investment strategy.
