Bahrain will have to wait for three weeks for Dine-in services.
Restaurants, food and beverage stores, bistros, and shisha bistros have been mentioned to quit giving dine-in services from 31st January for the next three weeks. Outdoor dining has also been limited to 30 individuals per reservation. Due to the new Covid-19 variant found in Bahrain, The Industry, Commerce, and Tourism Ministry has requested the residents and citizens of Bahrain to follow the COVID-19 measures outlined by the Govt.
All schools have switched to online learning during this period. Meanwhile, restaurants are permitted to provide outdoor services but following the pandemic protocol and strictly abiding by social distancing measures. Restaurants are only allowed to serve more than 30 people depending on the capacity of the place. The Industry, Commerce, and Tourism Ministry has mentioned that they would not hesitate to impose legal actions, penalties to violators, and administrative closure of the violating shops.

The region has also approved the AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccine for emergency uses and has also received a batch of Covishield – COVID-19 vaccine manufactured in India by the Serum Institute of India as a gift from India.
