DOCTORI, BAHRAINS FIRST LICENSED TELEMEDICINE PLATFORM, HAS STARTED GCC OPERATIONS
Bahraini startup Doctori has officially launched its telemedicine platform across GCC. The timing of the launch couldn’t have been better given that the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic has rendered patients across the region unable to continue with their non-urgent, but important health checkups.
For those out of the loop, Doctori was the first telemedicine platform in Bahrain to be licensed by the National Health Regulatory Authority (NHRA). The platform deploys an AI-equipped interface that patients can use to connect to a doctor and receive medical advice. Better yet, Doctori was designed to be a cost-effective platform that anyone can use without digging a hole in their pockets.
It only charges BHD 5 per consultation, making it one of the most affordable and secure alternatives to in-person doctor visits.
