Hope Ventures and the private sector invest USD 125k in OrderJet during the Second Episode of Beban Season 2
Hope Ventures, the investment arm of Hope Fund and producers of Beban TV show, and private investors invest a total of USD 125k in Bahrain-based F&B solution ‘OrderJet’ alongside the private sector on the second episode of Beban Season 2, which can be watched on Shahid platform for free, or at 6 PM on Bahrain TV and 9:30 PM on Alrai TV.
During the second episode, OrderJet, a Bahrain-based app co-founded by Ali Haji and Yusuf Almahmood to digitize restaurants’ operations through the provision of QR code services, pick-ups, and bring-to-car services, raised USD 125k from Hope Ventures and a Saudi angel investor, Dr. Abdulelah Algosaibi.
Commenting on the raised investment, Ali Haji, Co-Founder, and CEO of OrderJet shared: “At OrderJet, we are on a mission to streamline and ease operations for the F&B sector by providing the ultimate dining experience for customers in the Kingdom of Bahrain. We are excited about this investment from Hope Ventures and Dr. Abdulelah Algosaibi because it helps us in achieving our mission and enables us to expand our services to the rest of the region.”
Fajer Al Pachachi, General Manager at Hope Ventures, shared: “Beban aims to be a regional investment platform that matchmakes high-potential businesses with investors who exponentially help them scale beyond local borders. OrderJet is a prime example of that; through Beban, the company raised an investment from Hope and Saudi investor Dr. Abdulelah Algosaibi, whose expertise will contribute to the company’s growth and expansion.”
Dr. Abdulelah Algosaibi commented on his investment alongside Hope Ventures: “Participating in Beban season 2 gave me access to promising businesses in the technology sector, as my sector of interest is technology. I am thrilled to be investing alongside Hope Ventures in OrderJet, as I believe the company has tremendous growth and expansion potential. I hope to convey my expertise in technology to OrderJet, and I look forward to having a complementary relationship that takes the company to new horizons and boosts the efforts of supporting youth to compete regionally and globally.”
Alongside Dr. Abdulelah, episode 2’s panel of investors consisted of Mrs. Mashael Fairooz, Founding Partner of JEO Capital; Mr. Basel Al Abdulkarim, angel investor & President of EO East Saudi, and was moderated by His Excellency Aymen bin Tawfiq Almoayed, Chairman of Hope Fund, who was also representing Hope Ventures’ investments.
